What is Alphagan-P and how is it used? Alphagan-P is a prescription medicine used to treat the symptoms of Elevated Intraocular Pressure and Ocular Redness. Alphagan-P may be used alone or with other medications.
Alphagan-P belongs to a class of drugs called Antiglaucoma, Alpha Agonists.
It is not known if Alphagan-P is safe and effective in children younger than 2 years of age. What are the possible side effects of Alphagan-P? Alphagan-P may cause serious side effects including:
*eye pain,
*increased watering of the eye,
*vision changes, and
*severe swelling, redness, burning, or discomfort in or around the eye
Get medical help right away, if you have any of the symptoms listed above.
The most common side effects of Alphagan-P include:
*mild itching, redness, burning, or other irritation of your eyes,
*dry mouth,
*blurred vision,
*drowsiness, and
*tiredness
Tell the doctor if you have any side effect that bothers you or that does not go away.
